Job Title: Engineering CoordinatorSalary: £30,000 - £43,000Sector: AerospaceLocation: VerwoodFull Time: Monday - Thursday with an early finish on Fridays.
I am looking for an Engineering Coordinator to join an established Engineering team who specialise in the supply of complex, quality critical precision machined components and related assemblies for the Aerospace industry. The successful candidate will be the primary contact between the Supplier and the Client. You will also be responsible for managing the client accounts in full and ensuring that any issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
Engineering Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Closely track any potential delays and to inform the client at the earliest stage of any risks, being influential in prioritising and pushing production to meet client expectations.
- Communicate at different levels and liaise between the relevant departments and company to resolve any technical or quality issues
- Attend the daily production meetings and take an active part in pushing the completion and delivery of components to the client.
- Chase Treatments suppliers for progress of parts & work closely with the suppliers to achieve delivery dates.
Engineering Coordinator Requirements:
- Experience within Aerospace or Engineering is preferred but not essential.
- Good general IT Skills.
- Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of with Excel.
- Experience of a manufacturing system such as MRP/SAP an advantage but not essential.
- Good communicator, negotiator and have a good level of business acumen.
- Prioritise work through the shop floor.
- Part of the sales team to ensure monthly targets are met.
- Able to set and work to priorities.
- Must be well organised.
