Job Advert: Facilities Mechanical EngineerLocation: SurreySalary: £45,000 per annum + BenefitsContract: PermanentWe’re seeking a talented Facilities Mechanical Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-performing team. This role requires flexibility during busy seasons, including some evening and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance for site services and equipment.
- Service and maintain AHU, FCU, pumps (seals, bearings, alignment), and other mechanical systems.
- Conduct fault finding, diagnosis, and repairs.
- Oversee contractors and ensure high-quality work standards.
- Deliver technical support for building plant/equipment.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Participate in an on-call rota and provide cover for colleagues when needed.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Plumbing, or HVAC).
- Experience with AHU, FCU maintenance, and building services.
- Competence in other building services (e.g., BMS, Electrical).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong reporting and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and highly professional.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
