Job Advert: Facilities Mechanical EngineerLocation: SurreySalary: £45,000 per annum + BenefitsContract: PermanentWe’re seeking a talented Facilities Mechanical Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-performing team. This role requires flexibility during busy seasons, including some evening and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance for site services and equipment.
  • Service and maintain AHU, FCU, pumps (seals, bearings, alignment), and other mechanical systems.
  • Conduct fault finding, diagnosis, and repairs.
  • Oversee contractors and ensure high-quality work standards.
  • Deliver technical support for building plant/equipment.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Participate in an on-call rota and provide cover for colleagues when needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Plumbing, or HVAC).
  • Experience with AHU, FCU maintenance, and building services.
  • Competence in other building services (e.g., BMS, Electrical).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong reporting and problem-solving skills.
