On offer is the opportunity to be the first Grid Manager, joining a businesss that look after renewable energy projects from wind farm and utility-scale solar across the UK. The company is experiencing a great period of growth and are taking on large scale projects to provide for a more sustainable future. In this role, the successful Grid Manager will be responsible for the development of grid connections for renewable assets including solar PV and wind turbines. You will also be in charge for planning and implementing functions and deliverables for connections from inception to connection. Finally, you will also be required to look after the compliance and policies as well as liaising with the DNOs.

This role would suit a someone with a background in managing the Grid connection processes or similar, with a Renewables background, looking to step into a decisive role within an expanding business and where they will be instrumental for the implementation of renewable projects.

The Role:

  • Liaise with DNOs, ICPs, IDNOs and other stakeholders.
  • Developing and delivering the grid connection strategy
  • Grid Support for auctions and project acquisitions
  • Monday to Friday, office based

The Person:

  • Grid Manager or similar
  • Renewables background
  • Commutable to Wadebridge, Cornwall
