If so, this could be the job for you, our client is seeking a passionate Head Chef to join their team at this beautiful & amazing countryside location in the heart of Kent, where exceptional standards and innovation drive everything they do.

At this amazing pub, they're proud of their high standards and reputation for delivering exceptional cuisine that pushes the boundaries of flavour and creativity. The kitchen thrives on precision, passion, and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards to produce a memorable experience for every guest.

The aim for the kitchen is to produce pub classics to a high standard alongside more refined dishes where you'll get to be creative, work with the seasons and use local produce where possible. Alongside this they also cater for events and weddings, so previous experience catering for high volume at a high standard is preferable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present dishes to a Michelin/Rosette standard
  • Work closely with the General Manager to take the business to new heights.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during high-pressure periods.
  • Contribute to menu development and food innovation, staying ahead of culinary trends.
  • Oversee the training and development of junior team members within your section.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Head Chef in a Michelin/Rosette kitchen.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional dishes.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead when necessary.
  • Passionate about using seasonal, high-quality ingredients to create innovative dishes.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications and food safety certifications.
