Management Accountant – Wakefield – up to £50,000 Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a UK leading business in its field to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking and dynamic business who are seeking an individual who will be responsible for timely and high-quality management, financial and statutory reporting to support the Financial Controller.In Return You’ll Receive:

Management Accountant Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of full monthly management accounts, supporting information and reporting
  • Balance sheet management including ownership of fixed asset register and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Business partnering with the Senior Management team and the wider finance team, providing reports and analysis for them, focusing on reporting against forecast
  • Distil and present financial data relevant to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Assist in preparation and submission of statutory accounts and other group reporting
  • Be a point of contact for the external auditors, ensuring smooth year end process and audit
  • Assist in submission of corporate and tax submissions as well as other statutory returns
  • Assist in the annual planning and reforecasting activity
  • Review and make improvements to processes and procedures, to improve efficiencies and automation
  • Lead, coach and develop skills, knowledge, and behaviour of finance team
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Actively studying later stages or qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA
  • Previous experience of management accounts, statutory accounting, tax and audit
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with changing circumstances and challenging situations whilst still achieving objectives
  • Shows a willingness to get involved and have a hands-on approach
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
