Our client, a well-established independent accountancy practice, is seeking a skilled and motivated Part-time Financial Controller looking to make an impact in a dynamic and expanding business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a small finance team to deliver high-quality financial management services.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial services to meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with senior management at the client organisation to ensure they receive the necessary financial insights and support to drive business decisions.
  • Provide robust management information, business KPIs, and general financial oversight.
  • Lead budgeting and expenditure control efforts, challenging the client to meet financial goals.
  • Identify additional client needs, presenting tailored solutions as part of a long-term relationship.

About You:

You are a confident and commercially astute finance professional who thrives in client-facing roles. You possess:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
  • Proven experience in people and resource management, with a track record of delivering exceptional service through a team.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships in a business context.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to constructively challenge clients while maintaining a collaborative partnership.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial control.
  • Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with Xero and experience implementing CRM/ERP systems.
  • Ability to analyze business trends and deliver actionable insights confidently.
