Search Consultancy are supporting an international business, with offices in Wakefield to recruit an Assistant Accountant.
Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for posting transactions, processing payment runs and supplier statement reconciliations, as well as raising sales in invoices and chasing outstanding debt. You will process the monthly payroll and expenses to ensure timely payment. You will assist with the month end close, posting journals, accruals & prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations. You will be involved in the preparation of monthly management accounts and assist with the year end audit and the annual budgeting process.
To be considered for this role you will:
Be working towards CIMA or ACCA (study support is available)
Have experience of the management accounts process and month end management reports
Have strong excel skills (pivot tables, v-look ups) and have a good knowledge of accounting software

Salary 30,000 - 35,000 dependant on experience + study support + hybrid working + excellent benefits.
