We are seeking a dedicated Business Support Officer to join our Children’s Social Care team at a local authority. This role involves covering three sites in Wakefield and requires a professional who can manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Perform reception duties, acting as the first point of contact for clients and visitors.
  • Take minutes during meetings to ensure all discussions are documented accurately.
  • Handle petty cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Arrange meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organising necessary materials.
  • Process orders for clients of the service on an ad hoc basis, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
