Your new role

We are currently seeking an Administration Officer to join our team and support the delivery of an efficient, professional, and effective central administration service across the school. The successful Administration Officer will be responsible for undertaking reception duties, greeting visitors, and handling face-to-face enquiries. The Administration Officer will also control and monitor entry to the school, including the visitor signing-in system and safeguarding issues. Additionally, you will handle telephone enquiries, transfer calls, take messages where appropriate, and follow up with relevant staff. The Administration Officer will ensure efficient, accurate, and timely communication links for parents/carers, staff, and other interested parties. You will also cover first aid duties along with a wide variety of matters, including contact with pupils, staff, and parents/carers and extensive use of SIMS and related software. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience working with Secondary education within school administration roles is ideal along with experience using school systems such as SIMS.What you'll get in return
