We are recruiting for our client in Ossett near Wakefield. The company are a multidiscipline building services contractor primarily in the retail and commercial sectors looking to hire an experienced electrical engineer to join their growing team.
Working on retail and commercial projects around the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to have autonomy and develop your career within a growing business. You will be involved in the design of electrical services, as well as supporting contractors on site and demonstrating works and solutions to clients.
You will be required to design systems and produce working drawings associated withservices such as small power, DB scheduling, E-M schematics, LV distribution including settings information, lightingand respective control strategies along with a limited amount of fire alarmlayouts and details predominantly for retail (supermarketand High St stores) and commercial (offices) sectors.Assisting and completing O&M information on completion would also form part of the role
The candidate must be fullyconversant with current wiring and emergency lighting regulations and be confident in advising operational, estimating and delivery teams all such principles to be applied
You will work closely with the mechanical design engineer, pre-construction team and the project delivery team.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be suitably qualified (minimum of HND) in the design of electrical building services in retail and commercial buildings
- Be skilled in design tools such as Trimble, Amtech, Dialux and AutoCAD
- Ideally have CEng or working towards Chartership
- Have a UK Driving license
