Hours: full time or part time (office based)
A rare opportunity to join a well-established, small, specialist law firm in Wakefield as a Legal Cashier. This is a standalone role where you will be responsible for the firm’s legal accounts. There will be some ad hoc administrative duties and the opportunity to develop into Practice Management.
Daily Duties
- Reconciling office and client accounts
- Month end Management reports
- PAYE, NI Payments, Wage processing
- CHAPS and BACS payments
- Payment of invoices, managing queries
- Ensuring Compliance with SARS
- Maintaining and managing accurate files and databases
- Practice Management and HR responsibilities.
Required Skills
- Previous Legal Cashiering experience
- Knowledge of Solicitor Account Rules
- Strong IT skills
- Previous legal aid experience is desirable.
