I am currently looking to speak with the Maintenance Manager who will be accountable for the delivery of the maintenance and reliability strategy on site for our client in Leeds.

 

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000  + Bonus + Company Car + Pension + Healthcare

Industry: Chemicals /  Petrochemical /  COMAH

My client has a full order book for their chemical products and currently investing millions on site to keep up with demand so great time to join and be part of the journey

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive engineering excellence by establishing site standards and safe operating practices, ensuring comprehensive planning, data capture, effective issue resolution, and knowledge sharing.
  • Define and deliver strategies and programs to optimize plant uptime, integrity, and reliability, enabling the Operations Team to meet customer demand safely and on time, within budget.
  • Develop plant maintenance to meet future business and customer needs, enhancing uptime and productivity through proactive engineering and critical spares plans to mitigate major downtime risks.
  • Implement and monitor effective strategies, processes, and practices such as Permits to Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LoTo), Work Instructions, Mechanical Integrity Procedures, and Process Safety Management Procedures to ensure safety and protect employees, contractors, visitors, the site, and the environment.
  • Develop and monitor Site Reliability registers and Asset Care Plans, utilizing site resources and contractors as appropriate.
  • Accountable for the Maintenance Budget and support the preparation and delivery of the Capital Project Plan.

 

 

Background

  • Engineering qualification solid experience leading Maintenance teams in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • Experience and understanding of Health & Safety and legal requirements for safe operation on a top tier COMAH site
  • Experience leading coaching and developing teams
  • Ability to develop strong relationships across teams
