Overview

The individual must possess excellent technical skills with an ability to be both self-motivated and work in a team environment. Alongside the technical aspects of the job role, the person must also be able to communicate with the site manager/ site team and assist with the organising of the site. This would include materials, forecasting materials/plant required, and sub-contract management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and interpret site drawings, rebar drawings, and rebar schedules, and all construction drawings to a high level.
  • Setting out from the contract drawings/information. In partnership with this, the person must carry out surveys as and when required.
  • Be able to use robotic instruments, GPS instruments, lasers, levels, etc.
  • Ensure works are carried out as per the contract drawings and specifications.
  • Maintain records, site diary, quality assurance documentation, reports, and records.
  • Provide clear as-built information.
  • Be a point of contact for the client/sub-contractors to maintain and assist with the progression of works and carry out any inspections required on behalf of multiple stakeholders within the project.
  • Assist with inputting information/durations to programme of works.
  • Ability to carry out site cut and fill levels.
