As an Estimator, you will deliver accurate and timely cost estimates for civil engineering schemes up to £10m, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with company objectives. Key responsibilities include analysing tender opportunities, preparing and presenting management information, and submitting detailed tenders within operational guidelines. You will contribute to workload and client feedback reviews to improve tender success, maintaining effective communication with colleagues and clients while ensuring compliance with health and safety, equality, and confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare competitive tender submissions for projects up to £10m.
  • Analyse tender opportunities and present detailed cost and resource information.
  • Participate in workload and client feedback reviews to maximize success rates.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and confidentiality standards.
  • Support personal and team development through performance reviews.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in Civils Estimating, preferably with site operational experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Conquest, MS Project/Primavera P6, NEC contracts, and procurement processes.
  • Qualifications: HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Attributes: Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
