Job Description:
- Fire and Security Service engineer to work full time within this reputable company serving throughout Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
- Ensure all stock is signed out and that van stock levels are kept up to date
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Produce reports and complete paperwork accurately and complete timesheets within required timeframe
- Mentor junior/apprentice engineers to improve their knowledge and skill levels
- Installation, commission and maintenance of Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems (in line with current NSI standards and customer requirements)
- Ensure repairs and installations of systems are to a high standard and completed in a timely manner
- Respond to service calls when needed on all types of fire and security systems in line with current standards and customer requirements
- Work well within a team and individually to complete jobs with initiative
- Callout duty is required on a rota basis
- Willingness to work away from time to time
Beneficial Skills / Experience:
- Experience of at least 5 years in fire and security services
- A proven track record in the security sector
- Full clean UK driving license
- Professional communication when meeting with clients on site
- A high drive to succeed and carry out varied tasks and work to company deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills
Benefits / Package:
- Excellent rate of pay - £30K - £40k per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
- Permanent position, working hours are 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
- Overtime available, paid at a premium rate
- 20 days paid holiday entitlement plus 8 bank holidays, increasing to 24 days with length of service
