Job Opportunity: CNC Miller Programmer/Setter
Shift Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6 PM – 6 AM
Pay Rate: £19.50 - £22 per hour
Position Overview:
We are looking for experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setters to join our client’s team for a permanent night shift role. You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating HAAS machining centers to create precision components. This role offers a variety of engaging tasks and opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate HAAS 3-axis vertical machining centers.
- Manufacture components to precise tolerances based on provided drawings.
- Keep your workspace clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in setting up and operating milling machines, with programming experience being highly desirable.
- Familiarity with HAAS control systems is preferred, though experience with Fanuc is also acceptable.
- Skilled in using inspection and measuring tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Committed to producing components within tight tolerances.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with 4th and 5th axis machining is an advantage.
