Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sheet metal and possess strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain press brake machinery effectively.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine the correct specifications
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards
- Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections and cleaning
- Collaborate with team members to fabricate, assemble, grind, and weld components as needed
Requirements
- Proficiency in operating press brake machinery
- Knowledge of sheet metal properties and fabrication techniques
- Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and angles
- Experience in working with various tooling for bending operations
- Strong attention to detail and quality control practices
