Supply Early Years Practitioner - Central Wakefield

Are you an experienced Early Years Practitioner looking for flexible work across private day nurseries in Central Wakefield? We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Supply Early Years Educator to support multiple settings, covering staff sickness and staffing gaps.



About the Role:

As a Supply Early Years Practitioner, you will work across baby rooms, toddler rooms, and preschool, ensuring continuity of care and high-quality learning experiences. You must be able to quickly adapt to new environments, pick up routines effortlessly, and integrate seamlessly into different nursery teams.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality childcare and education in line with the EYFS framework

  • Support children aged 0-5 years in their holistic development

  • Adapt to different nursery settings, routines, and policies

  • Provide stimulating and engaging activities based on child-led learning

  • Maintain safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times

  • Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents

  • Work effectively as part of a team and independently



What We're Looking For:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)

  • Experience working across all age groups (0-5 years)

  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework and best practices

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and routines

  • Passion for child development, play-based learning, and inclusive education

  • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work
