Construction Project Manager (Civils)Salary: £65,000 (includes Car) + Travel CostsLocation: Manchester & Leeds/Doncaster, with travel across both areasRole Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in civil engineering to oversee a portfolio of high-quality projects across Manchester and Yorkshire. This role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in managing multiple civil engineering projects simultaneously.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget, all while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate multiple civil engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Act as a key partner for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure all work aligns with contractual obligations, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
  • Effectively manage project budgets and costs to ensure profitability.
  • Lead and mentor site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to expand project pipelines and achieve business growth targets.
Candidate Requirements
  • Strong background in civil engineering with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • NEC experience (ideally Level 4) is required.
  • HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and client engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to manage costs, budgets, and subcontractor performance.
  • Possession of SMSTS / CSCS Black Card / First Aid certification is essential.
  • full UK Driver’s License
