Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a client in Central West Yorkshire who are recruiting a Credit Controller to join their team. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for a full-time position (part-time will be considered). This is an office-based role and are looking for someone to join as soon as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage overdue accounts and instruct debt recovery support
- Process credit requests
- Daily chasing of customer accounts for payment information
- Credit searches for new customers
- Correspond by phone and email to resolve invoice queries
- Direct debit preparation
- Support with management of overdue accounts
- Cover all credit control duties for holidays/sickness where required
- Issue customer statements
You will need to demonstrate:
- Experience within a similar position (desirable)
- Confident on the phone
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good eye for detail
- Good level of excel skills
