My client is seeking a solid and proactive Credit Controller to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be working in a team responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is crucial in supporting the companys cash flow and fostering strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the credit control process, ensuring timely invoicing and collection of payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications with clients regarding their accounts.
- Conduct regular credit checks on customers to assess risk and make informed decisions regarding credit limits.
- Liaise with clients to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues in a professional manner.
- Prepare aged debt reports and provide updates to management on outstanding debts.
- Assist in the development of credit control policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Skills
- Solid understanding of credit control
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on building client relationships.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple accounts effectively.
