Part-Time Credit Controller - Wakefield (Flexible Hours) (Construction Background Ideal - CIS)

We're looking for an experienced Part-Time Credit Controller to join a growing company in Wakefield. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work 3 full days (9am-5pm) or 5 half days (9am-2pm), ensuring a great work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform credit assessments for customers and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Proactively manage overdue accounts and follow up with clients on outstanding payments.
  • Handle CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) records and ensure proper returns and certificate issuance.
  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts receivable.
  • Provide management with accurate reports regarding cash flow and outstanding payments.
  • Liaise with internal teams and customers to resolve payment issues and ensure smooth operations.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in Credit Control, with a good understanding of the processes.
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and a general accounting background.
  • Experience with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) is a definite advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
