Job Title: Class 1 ADR Driver with HIAB

Location:

Based in the Yorkshire area up to a 60 mile radius of Wakefield.

Please note this is a full time perm vacancy with the expectancy that you will be working circa 50 hours per week.

Overtime after 39 hours is paid at 1.5 with double time for Sunday working.

Realistic on target earnings of circa £46,000

Job Duties:

  • Operating Class 1 vehicles with ADR certification
  • Using HIAB equipment to safely load and unload goods
  • Transporting goods in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections

Required Qualifications:

  • Class 1 driving licence
  • ADR certification
  • HIAB licence

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Class 1 ADR Driver with HIAB
  • No more than 6 points.
  • Due to insurance reasons a minimum age limit of 25 plus.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years HIAB experience and a valid license.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organisational and time management skills

Working Conditions:

  • Working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Physical work involving lifting and carrying heavy goods
  • Frequent travel required
