THE ROL
Reporting into the Sales & Marketing Director the successful candidate will play an integral role in the formation of the Marketing & Creative strategy and have influence over the Sales strategy, developing the marketing roadmap, defining the brand's voice, ensuring consistent & compelling messaging, and producing innovative campaigns that resonate with the target audience and deliver results.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy & Sales:
- Develop & implement a clear and data-driven marketing & creative strategy that aligns with business objectives, mission, and values.
- Work closely with Sales and provide insights to inform the development of the sales strategy.
- Identify & develop marketing/creative initiatives to aid sales in lead generation activities.
- Provide strategic direction to the Board on roadmaps for business growth and commercial success.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
Campaign Development & Management:
- Oversee the ideation, development, execution, and optimisation of multi-channel campaigns across Socials, Web, Exhibitions, etc.
- Ensure cohesion between the creative direction & branding, and update brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, producing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, sales) and translate business objectives into creative solutions.
Project Management:
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
- Oversee the direction and progress of creative projects, from concept to completion, and ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget and aligned with business goals and objectives
- Provide clear creative briefs and feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Leadership & Management:
- Full management of 4 team members, providing leadership and coaching to encourage their professional development.
- Full responsibility of the Marketing budget.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in a practical& strategic Marketing & Creative Leadership role is essential.
- Experience in developing and implementing a successful Marketing & Creative strategy is essential.
- Experience of working closely with Sales, providing insights & expertise to influence strategies and increase business revenue.
- Strong Project Management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Innovative & creative mindset, with experience developing/monitoring/optimising on-line and off-line marketing activities.
- Confident & concise communication skills, with exceptional written ability.
- Product design experience would be highly beneficial.
- Team management or mentoring experience.
- UK resident with unrestricted right to work in the UK.
