Your new job as an Early Years Teaching Assistant

This job will involve working in nursery or pre-school classes, supporting whole class activities, providing 1:1 support to students and running small group interventions to support the teacher. This role is based in an Outstanding nursery school in Wakefield, with a warm, welcoming and supportive atmosphere.There are multiple opportunities to choose from within this setting, including a Tuesday morning shift in the Preschool, a full Tuesday in the Nursery, and Thursday and Friday afternoons in the Nursery.What you'll need to succeed as an Early Years Teaching Assistant

  • Previous early years teaching assistant experience
  • Early Years Level 3 qualification qualifications are desirable, but Level 2 qualifications coupled with solid experience may be considered.
  • Desire to make a difference
  • Ability to communicate effectively
