We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school on a supply basis, with a confirmed placement running through to the end of the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and looking to make a positive impact on young people’s learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting class teachers with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons

  • Working with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups

  • Assisting with classroom organisation and behaviour management

  • Providing tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEND) or additional requirements

  • Promoting a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school setting

  • A flexible and proactive attitude to classroom support

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Ability to commit to the role for the remainder of the academic year
