The Company

ATA have partnered with the UK’s leading manufacturer supplying into the biggest names within the build and construction sectors. They have just moved to a brand new fully automated sight which was completed last April. My client are growing and are now recruiting for an electrical maintenance engineer. As the maintenance engineer you will be working on automated kit alongside a team of multi skilled engineers operating a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. They are looking for a maintenance engineer who has as ambitions to progress within the engineering sector and become an asset to their company.

The Role

As the electrical maintenance engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting planned and preventive maintenance on automated and complex machinery
  • Fault finding on electrical and mechanical components including contactors, invertors, relays, bearings, rollers and much more
  • Maintain levels of critical spares
  • Control calibration records

Requirements

As the electrical maintenance engineer, our client requires:

  • NVQ level 3 apprenticeship (or equivalent) in electrical engineering
  • Good understanding of fault finding both mechanically and electrically
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in working in a automated factory is highly desirable although not essential
