Key Responsibilities:
- Design and layout fire sprinkler systems in accordance with British Standards (BS EN 12845) and other relevant regulations.
- Prepare detailed design drawings using AutoCAD or similar design software.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Perform site visits to assess project conditions and gather necessary data.
- Ensure all designs are compliant with regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including technical specifications and material lists.
Key Skills:
- Minimum five years’ experience in the design of fire sprinkler systems.
- LPCB Lvl 3 Qualified.
- Knowledge of LPC sprinkler rules is essential. Knowledge of FM & NFPA standards would be an advantage.
- A degree or HND in a relatable discipline would be an advantage.
- NVQ Level 3 or above in Sprinkler systems would be advantageous.
- Relevant technical design experience and the preparation of technical documentation and drawings.
- Experience of water mist, hydrants & dry/wet riser systems are necessary.
