The client looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their Site Engineering department. The successful candidate will utilise their maintenance experience to ensure the smooth running of operations at the Wakefield site.

Description

  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering team to plan and execute larger maintenance projects.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and procedures during all maintenance activities.
  • Document all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve current maintenance procedures and standards.
  • Assist in the training of junior staff members and apprentices.
  • Support the team in any additional tasks or projects as required.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • An electrical or mechanical background and experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of machinery and systems.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively work in a team environment.
