HR Business Partner

Venn Group are currently partnered with a notable organisation in the North-East area who urgently require a fulltime Human Resources Business Partner.

NHS or Local Authority experience required

  1. To build positive and constructive working relationships working with the Directors, Deputy and Associate Directors, ensuring HR functions are delivered effectively within the designated region.
  2. To build positive and constructive working relationship with corporate colleagues and teams to support the operational services.
  3. Produce and present reports at meetings/committees and monitor performance against People metrics, analysing and identifying trends and potential solutions in all areas of performance and
  4. Coordinate and deliver interventions to improve performance in areas for example absence management, recruitment & retention, appraisals, statutory & mandatory training.
  5. To contribute to the development and delivery of the Workforce strategy and associated HR plans.
  6. To lead on a designated portfolio and lead working groups in one of the following areas: see above
  7. To support and advise managers with scoping and delivering complex change management programmes.
  8. To support the bid processes for further contracts and lead on TUPE transfers.
  9. To provide professional specialist HR advice, ensuring employment legislation is adhered to and Spectrum’s HR policies and procedures followed making the required changes to People Management policies which impact on other service areas.
  10. To manage the HR team, ensuring timely delivery of HR transactional functions including recruitment activities and management of sickness absence cases and employee relation cases.
  11. To understand the learning & development needs for the region and the annual training needs, working with the Learning & Development Lead.
  12. To support employee relation panels and undertake/support highly complex employee relation investigations.
  13. To contribute to the Senior Leadership Agenda, facilitating workshops and develop and present information to Senior Leaders as required.
  14. Develop audits and surveys as required for the service.
