Environmental Advisor - construction main contractor - £30k-£40k+package (car/car allowance, pension, healthcare, bonus) - Wakefield (covering sites across the Yorkshire and North-West regions).

Job Purpose
To support the Environmental Manager and the wider construction site teams with the effective implementation of the environmental management system, including assisting with environmental planning, reviewing records and giving guidance on site environmental controls.

Key Accountabilities
- Assess and report on site environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives via reporting system
- Support waste reporting system, both internally and in supply chain
- Review the suitability and effectiveness of physical environmental control measures
- Support the ongoing review of site-level environmental plans, including aspects and impacts registers
- Provide assistance with environmental incident investigations

Knowledge and Experience
- Experience of environmental controls and management systems within the wider construction industry
- Knowledge of UK environmental legislation
