Sustainability Consultant

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancies who specialise in providing energy compliance and consultancy services to a range of innovative projects within the construction industry. They are on the lookout for a Sustainability Consultant who can hit the ground running for their energy team in their offices in Wakefield.

Role responsibilities for a Sustainability Consultant include:

  • Carrying out SBEM Part L compliance calculations and reports
  • Use IES software to carry out overheating analysis, operational energy analysis, and daylight calculations
  • Help clients achieve Net Zero and ESG objectives through the provision of sustainable solutions
  • Help clients gain a better understanding of UK Building regulations such as Part L and Part O

The ideal Sustainability Consultant will have:

  • Good experience in a relevant engineering or consultancy role within the built environment industry
  • Proficiency with IES-VE software in regards to carrying out energy modelling to optimise building performance
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and legislations such as Part L compliance
  • Having a level 4 Non-Domestic Energy Assessor qualification is beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
