Elevation Senior Finance are working with a successful, global business based in the Wakefield area, as they look to bring on board an experienced Finance Analyst into their dedicated finance function, on a full time permanent basis. This is a key role in the Finance team and duties of the Finance Analyst will include, but not limited to:
- Prepare and analyse month-end financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Complete month end process for the Wakefield siteÂ
- Develop and maintain KPI reports to track financial and operational performance
- Analyse variances and provide insights on trends
- Business partner with operations and engineering teams, providing financial analysis and advice to support decision-making
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Streamline financial reporting and month-end close processes
- Support automation of financial tools and systems
Key Skills & Experience required:
- QBE, PQ or qualified accountantÂ
- Experience in a commercially focussed role
- Comfortable working under pressure and at pace; able to demonstrate working within a team and to own initiative, taking responsibility for continuously driving improvements
- Able to present logical, evidenced arguments to support themÂ
