My client in the Brighouse area are looking for an experienced FLT Pivot Steel Driver.Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and reliable FLT Pivot Steer operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, ensuring the safe operation of the pivot steer forklift, and contributing to the overall productivity of our warehouse operations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.DutiesOperate the FLT Pivot Steer safely and efficiently for various warehouse tasks.Load and unload goods from lorries and storage areas, ensuring proper handling of materials.Perform regular inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of goods.Conduct heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.ExperienceProven experience operating forklifts, particularly FLT Pivot Steer models.Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and record keeping.Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair is beneficial.Experience in materials handling within a warehouse environment is preferred.A strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes will be an asset.Working days (8am - 4.30pm)IND123
