Appointment/ Schedule Manager - £50,000 per year

Talent 84 have a permanent vacancy for an office based Manager to work for a specialist utilities service provider in Wakefield.

Hours of work

  • 40 hours per week
  • Mon Fri 8.30 am 5.00 pm

Job Purpose

To lead a maintenance planning team ensuring that customers receive the best possible service.

Reporting to the Appointment/ Scheduling Manager duties are varied and will include:

  • Overseeing the delivery of high-volume work streams of high voltage substation and asset inspections and maintenance nationally.
  • Managing and mentoring the planning team
  • Monitoring service metrics including response times, resolution rates and customer satisfaction scores
  • Resolving customer queries
  • Resource allocation ensuring a 24/7 call out function
  • Client maintenance and inspection reports
  • Monitoring and controlling work in progress costs
  • Implementing improvement strategies
  • Implementing new services and improving existing ones to meet changing customer needs and market demands
  • Developing service standards, policies and procedures
  • Ensuring health & safety requirements are adhered to

Skills required:

  • Higher Level Engineering Qualification
  • Proficiency in asset management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, substation equipment and relevant industry standards
  • Project management experience
