Job Role: Apprentice Internal Sales Support
Location: Wakefield
Shift: Days Only
Salary: 13,391.04 Per Annum

Metalis is working in partnership with a global sub-contractor in Wokingham who due to continuous growth are looking to hire an Internal Sales Support Apprentice on a permanent contract.

Job Duties:

  • Travel to client sites required either as an individual or as part of a team
  • Supporting all internal departments
  • Dealing with clients to practical assembly and sorting of components
  • Answering calls and emails from customers
  • Providing technical support and quotations
  • From time to time some practical work may also be necessary as part of this role such as product assembly
  • Training on all products, systems and equipment will be provided


Job Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and attitude while liaising with both internal and external customers
  • Attention to detail is key to succeeding in this position, ensuring that all information is clearly documented and communicated
  • Ability to raise purchase orders and deal with suppliers with good commercial acumen especially related to minimising costs
  • Be commercially alert and have a good working knowledge of the quotation process works
  • Ability to multitask and good administrative skills
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Assisting all departments to secure costings, supporting in administration, following instruction, completing tasks within timely manner
  • Be enthusiastic, reliable, punctual and trustworthy


Salary & Shift:

  • Stating salary of 13,391.04 pa (6.96 ph)
  • 37 hours per week
  • Laptop
  • Potential to progress into an external sales position
