As an Attendance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in promoting whole-school attendance strategies, improving attendance levels, and reducing persistent absences in line with academy targets. It is a full time position stating as soon as possible.

Essential Requirements
- Familiarity with CMIS or SIMS software.
- Experience in a school environment.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
- Monitor daily student attendance and punctuality.
- Maintain accurate attendance records.
- Identify and address patterns of absenteeism.
- Collaborate with staff to implement attendance improvement strategies.
- Communicate with parents regarding attendance concerns.
- Prepare attendance reports for leadership.
- Support reintegration of students returning from absences.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.
- Participate in staff meetings and training.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- Assist in other administrative duties as required.
