We are looking to recruit an EC&I Engineer, who will work closely with the Maintenance Team, ensuring the site is operational in both a safe and productive manner. Take an active approach to continuous improvement, whilst showcasing an ability to identify and report on problems.

This role does operate a 1 week in 4 on call rota whilst, offering an on-call allowance on top of the salary.

Responsibilities of the EC&I Engineer:

Make sure systems are operating efficiently by performing preventative maintenance.
Diagnose and repair of a variety of equipment, such as PLC based control loops, solenoid control loops and safety systems.
Functional testing of control systems.
Routine proof testing of safety instrumented systems.
Maintain all records of the electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
Maintain all circuit and layout diagrams on site.
Have an active participation in training and continuous improvement, writing up all training notes.

What we are looking for in the EC&I Engineer:

Hold an IPAF certificate and trained to in BS7671 wiring regulations.
IT would be advantageous to have knowledge of BS60079, BS EN 61508 and BS EN. 61511.
A self-starter, who is also data driven.
Clear and effective communication.
Excellent knowledge of Electricity at Work Regulations.
