We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join our supportive school community in Wakefield.

Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that inspire and motivate students.
- Foster a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate and excel.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and participate in school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievements and attend parents' evenings and school events as required.
Requirements:
- Experience in teaching English at secondary school level, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
- Ability to differentiate teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and sharing best practices with colleagues.
- Have a strong command of English language and literature
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), and demonstrate excellent teaching skills.
- An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential.
