KS2 Teacher

Are you a passionate and experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher with a strong presence in the classroom?

Are you confident in managing challenging behaviour and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed?

We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient KS2 Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking primary school in WF2 area of Wakefield, This role is ideal for a teacher who thrives on making a difference, particularly with pupils who benefit from consistent boundaries and engaging, purposeful teaching.

What We're Looking For:

A qualified and experienced teacher (QTS essential) with a strong track record in KS2.
Confident in managing challenging behaviour using a calm, consistent approach.
Able to foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Committed to raising standards and ensuring all pupils reach their full potential.
Adaptable, enthusiastic, and a strong team player.

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic and personal growth.
Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to confidently manage challenging behaviour.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Dedication to promoting a positive learning environment and fostering a love of learning in students.
