We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Cover Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wakefield. This is a part-time role starting in January 2025.

Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates will be considered)
What We're Looking For
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- A strong ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the national curriculum.
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a healthy lifestyle among students.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering mutual respect.
- Ensure all equipment and resources are used safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the department's success
