Job Title: Personal Injury ParalegalLocation: Wakefield (Hybrid Working)Salary: Up to £27,500 depending on experienceContract: Full or Part Time, PermanentRole Overview & Daily Responsibilities:Support lead file handlers in managing and progressing serious injury cases. Draft standard letters to advance case progress using the case management system (ProClaim). Serve as the initial point of contact for the Fee Earner by answering incoming calls. Handle telephone inquiries when possible, and take comprehensive messages to be promptly relayed to the Fee Earner. Meet agreed-upon KPIs on a monthly basis in collaboration with your line manager. Regularly update and maintain the case management system. Ensure that filing systems and other information management processes meet the firm's standards. Schedule appointments for the Fee Earner when appropriate. Coordinate with the Finance Department on matters related to disbursement payments, outstanding accounts, and similar tasks. Assist with the efficient operation of the firm by supporting other staff during peak periods, including document production, task list management, answering calls, and general administrative tasks. Sort and organize mail. Consistently perform well in a target-driven environment.
