Are you a passionate Early Years Practitioner looking for flexible working opportunities in the Wakefield area? We are seeking dedicated supply practitioners to join our team and support local nurseries and childcare settings across Central Wakefield, Horbury, Ossett, and Lupset.



About the Role:

As a Supply Early Years Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. Your role will involve engaging with children in a variety of settings, delivering stimulating activities, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote children's development.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to the nursery team.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Be adaptable and ready to step into various nursery roles as needed.


What We're Looking For:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A flexible and positive approach to work.
