Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping each child achieve their full potential. While SENCO experience is preferred, it is not essential. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong behaviour management skills, as the school can present some challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Year 2 students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Implement strong behaviour management strategies to support all students.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support student progress.
- Participate in school events and activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably Year 2.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- SENCO experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
