Empowering learning are recruiting Psychology & Sociology Graduates to work on a full-time or part-time basis as a Learning Support Assistant within SEND Schools across in the boroughs of Wakefield and Leeds. You will be supporting pupils with different SEND needs such as Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Complex needs and Challenging behaviour. This position will give anyone considering a future in teaching valuable classroom-based experience working as a 1:1 support assistant. We are seeking enthusiastic and hands-on Teaching Assistants that can take direction. If you are looking to start a career in Education, this is a great way to get yourself started, and this role will also suit anyone looking for part-time work while studying.

Job Responsibilities

  • Comfortable supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational needs

  • Ability to engage and support pupils

  • Assist with personal care if needed

Job Requirements
