Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Analyst to join our dynamic IT team in Wakefield. As an IT Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing IT systems, ensuring the smooth operation of the company's technology infrastructure, and providing technical assistance to end-users. You will play a vital role in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Support: Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for IT systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware and software problems in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Network Management: Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of network systems, ensuring reliable connectivity.
  • User Assistance: Offer technical support to employees, guiding them through system setups and addressing queries related to hardware, software, and network issues.
  • System Updates & Maintenance: Ensure all systems, software, and applications are updated and functioning optimally.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation on IT systems, troubleshooting processes, and common issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas where IT systems can be improved and help implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure all IT operations follow security protocols, best practices, and company policies to maintain data security and integrity.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an IT support or analyst role (1-2 years preferred).
  • Solid understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, and networking.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and IT troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A proactive attitude to learning and staying updated with new technologies.
Desirable Skills (not essential):
  • Experience with cloud technologies and virtualization.
  • Knowledge of IT security practices and principles.
