Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. This role requires a strong understanding of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems, along with excellent customer service skills. Responsibilitiesincluding but not limited to
- Provide basic trouble shooting for hardware, software and network-related issues.
- Creating documents for resolving complex cases along side Senior IT Technician.
- Organise and maintain online ticket tracker and update resolution for common issues.
- Act as primary contact for bespoke software - ensure issues are addressed.
- Ensure effective running of software and escalate where required to reduce impact on business.
- Create and control documentation to support user functionality updating as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an IT support role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to create and maintain documentation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Proficiency in providing technical support for both Windows, MS Office and IT Ticketing systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications in IT support or networking would be beneficial.
- Familiarity of COINS with be advantageous.
