About the Commercial Contracts Lawyer role:

This role will provide you with the opportunity to continue with your professional development within a stable commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for their next step in their career or someone who is looking to transfer their skills into a different area.

The successful Commercial Contracts Lawyer will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Advising on all aspects of public procurement
  • Dealing with funding and grant agreements
  • Unsupervised legal research
  • Advising subsidy control and local government law

Whilst it is desirable that the successful candidate will have some experience of drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, it is not essential. We are looking to hear from bright, adaptable lawyers who have a passion to learn. Wakefield are able to offer excellent training and support and you would be learning from an experienced legal team.
