Your responsibilities will include:
  • Typing tasks for your assigned fee earner, such as letters, emails, file and preparation notes.
  • Handling dictation requests.
  • Responding to telephone inquiries for the Private Client department.
  • Managing files, including filing and organization.
  • Drafting Wills, LPAs, and other legal documents (training provided).
  • Uploading documentation via the Court portal.
  • Managing file opening and closure processes, including paperwork and ID checks.
  • Communicating with clients, solicitors, and experts when fee earners are unavailable, both in person and by phone.
  • Scheduling client appointments.
  • Preparing posting slips for Accounts.
  • Organizing your fee earner’s daily tasks.
  • Supporting the team by covering work during absences.
