Job Title - Personal Injury Legal AssistantSalary - £23,000 - £27,000Location - Wakefield, West YorkshireContract - Full-time, permanent, hybrid working availableRole Overview & Daily Responsibilities:Assist lead file handlers in managing and advancing serious injury cases. Draft standard letters to progress cases using the case management system (ProClaim). Serve as the primary point of contact for Fee Earners, handling incoming calls. Manage telephone inquiries where possible and ensure detailed messages are relayed to the Fee Earner promptly. Collaborate with your line manager to meet agreed-upon KPIs on a monthly basis. Regularly update and maintain the case management system to ensure accuracy. Ensure filing systems and information management processes align with the firm's standards. Schedule appointments for the Fee Earner when necessary. Liaise with the Finance Department on matters regarding disbursement payments, outstanding accounts, and related tasks. Support the smooth operation of the firm by assisting other staff during busy periods, including document production, task list management, answering calls, and performing general administrative duties. Sort and organize incoming mail. Consistently meet performance targets in a goal-driven environment.
